Seiko 5 Sports Field collection
These watches have been created with an 'in the field’ military design – taking inspiration from a style originally called a ‘trench watch,’ created to be robust and reliable – echoing the Seiko 5 Sports characteristics.
Seiko 5 Sports is known for over fifty years of reliability, durability, performance and value.
‘’5’’ represents the original five key features of every Seiko 5 still present today: Automatic movement, Day-date display, Water Resistance, Recessed crown and Durable case and bracelet.
The five core features of the Seiko 5 Sport:
The mechanism within the watch is 4R36 automatic movement which is built in-house and the calibre is comprised of 24 Jewels and a 41-hour power reserve.
The placement of the crown is signature to the Seiko 5 Sport collection, positioned at 3 o'clock.
Each Seiko 5 Sport displays a day and date window at the 3 o'clock position on the dial.
The Seiko 5 Sports collection are known for significant water resistance up to 100 metres.
The collection also comes with added durability of the case and strap of each model.
